5 Days Maasai Mara/NAKURU

DAY 1: NAIROBI – MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE.

Today, you will awake to the exotic birdcalls in a magical new world with the whiff of Kenyan serenity. We will pick you up from the airport for meet, greet and safari briefings before an easy drive via the Nairobi-Narok Road and enjoy a drive via typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colorful Maasai herdsmen grazing their cattle. Along the way, we shall have a brief stopover at the spectacular Great Rift Valley to see its beauty, formation and photo shooting. We will proceed to Maasai Mara and arrive at the camp with enough time to settle in before lunch with a little time to relax before we head out for our first afternoon game drive. See the game like the lions, elephants, rhinos, leopards, cheetahs, elands, Topi among others. DAY 2 & 3:  EXPLORE MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE.

Rise today for breakfast. As the cool, fresh air fills your lungs, you will feel invigorated and rejuvenated, ready for a great day to explore Kenya’s flagship park. Roll down the windows or stand up through the customized pop-up roof hatch and enjoy this unhindered 360 views, and the possibilities for what lies ahead. Maasai Mara is one of the lushest reserves in Africa and is globally renowned for providing excellent predator sightings in their natural habitats thanks to its relatively large populations of lion, cheetah, and leopard. We will also see many Elephants, Maasai giraffe, common zebra, impala, Thompson and Grant’s gazelles, Topi, Hartebeest, Black-backed jackal, spotted hyena and more. DAY 4: MAASAI MARA – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

Rise up early for breakfast, check out and depart Maasai Mara for Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru National Park offers you a rare insight into Kenya’s most diverse flora, fauna and wildlife and is famous for its huge flocks of pink flamingos. The bird’s throng on Lake Nakuru itself, one of the Rift Valley soda lakes that comprises almost a third of the park’s area. More than 450 species of birds have been recorded here as well as a rich diversity of other wildlife. Lions, leopards, warthogs, waterbucks, pythons, and white rhinos are just some of the animals you might see, and the landscapes range from sweeping grasslands bordering the lake to rocky cliffs and woodland. The park also protects the largest euphorbia candelabrum forest in Africa. DAY 5: LAKE NAKURU – LAKE NAIVASHA BOAT RIDE

NAIROBI Depart Lake Nakuru after breakfast for your journey to Lake Naivasha to enjoy a leisure boat ride in the lake. This is the better experience for you to watch the behaviors of hippos in water. You will also see the grebes, guinea fowls, ducks, pigeons, doves, cuckoos, cranes, plovers, jacanas and many more than 450 species of birds around the lake. Later proceed with a drive to Nairobi, drop off to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport bringing to an end what we hope shall be a safari of your lifetime.
