4-Day Kenya Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Game Reserve

Starting with a visit to lake Nakuru national park, where you can get close to hippos and see many species of bird like the pink flamingos. The safari then heads to the classic Savannah of the Masai Mara where you will venture out on game drives to track down the Big five, also see the Wildebeest Migration in Masai Mara, Kenya.

Day by Day

Arrival

Day 1

Nairobi- Lake Nakuru National Park

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, You will be met by our company representatives, briefed and later depart to Lake Nakuru National Park, Lake Nakuru national park is a beautiful wildlife haven that lies on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, Surrounded by wooden and bushy grassland, you can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escapement and picturesque ridges. The park is ideal for bird watching, hiking, picnic and game drives, arrive and proceed to lake Nakuru lodge for check in and lunch, after some rest, have an afternoon game drive, later return back to the lodge as the day comes to an end.

Day 2

Lake Nakuru National Park-Masai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, have an enroute game drive as you depart to Masai Mara game reserve. Masai Mara is a must visit reserve visited by many people. Masai Mara is considered Kenya 's prime wildlife area, due to the acacia-dotted plain scenery of stunning beauty, home to the black maned lions, cheetahs and leopards. Mara also hosts 450 species of birds including the national bird of Kenya, the lilac breasted roller bird and the nocturnal bird, expected to see the great herd of Zebras and Elephant grazing, Leopard climbing down a tree.

Arrive and proceed for evening game drive, the best time to catch the cats, as they crawl out of their shadows ready to make their next kill for the night, later return to dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3

Masai Mara National Reserve full day

After breakfast, enjoy a full day game drive at Masai Mara National Reserve, here you are expected to see the great herd of Zebras and Elephant grazing, the wonders of the world, that is, the annual Wildebeest migration from Mara river to Serengeti, the huge crocodiles at Mara river ready to catch the weak ones crossing the river, species of birds like the Secretary bird, Owls and Vulture, the Mara plains are commonly dominated by an incredible variety of mammals, from large herds of herbivores, which include, Wildebeest, Zebras and Thomson’s Gazelle and carnivores like Lion and Hyena, later back to the lodge as the day come to an end.

Day 4

Masai Mara Game Reserve -Nairobi

After breakfast, you will have an en-route game drive as you depart to Nairobi, having a stop at Narok where you will have lunch before proceeding. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home.

End of tour
