9-Day Kenya Masai Mara, Samburu, Amboseli, Nakuru
Overview
Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenya International Airport,
You will be met by our company representatives.
Briefed and later depart for Samburu national reserve.
On arrival, you will be transferred to samburu Intrepid, Check in for lunch and freshen up.
Afternoon games drive after lunch. Dinner and overnight at the hotel
Meal plan: Full Board, Dinner and overnight at Samburu Intrepid Camp.
Day 2: Samburu National Reserve
Enjoy full day game drive in the Reserve being on the lookout for special flora and fauna,
It’s rather dry and the Terrain Rough,It’s Blessed with very Rare species.
Some of them being the Reticulated Giraffe, Beisa Oryx, Grevys Zebra and Birds like Blue Necked Ostrich and much more.Samburu is also home for the Big five.
Ewaso Nyiro River is a Wale point running through Samburu and provides Great Scenery.
The Carnivores’ way lay the Herbivores as they come to drink.
Meal plan: Full board, overnight at Samburu intrepid Camp.
Day 3: Samburu National Reserve-Nakuru
After breakfast, Have an en-route game drive as you depart to Lake Nakuru National Park.
The park is a beautiful wildlife haven that lies on the floor of the Great Rift Valley.
Surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland; you enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges.
The Park is ideal for Bird watching, Hiking, Picnic and Game drives.
Arrive and proceed to Lake Nakuru Lodge for check in and lunch equivalent,
After some rest, have an afternoon game drive, later back to the lodge as the day comes to an end.
Meal plan, full board, overnight at Lake Nakuru lodge.
Day 4: Nakuru – Masai Mara
After breakfast, have an en route game drive as you depart to Masai Mara National Reserve.
Arrive at noon having an en route game drive as you proceed for check in and lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge
Have an afternoon game drive at the Reserve, Mara is a ‘must visit’ reserve and its considered Kenya’s prime wildlife area, due to the acacia-dotted plain scenery of stunning beauty, home to the Black maned Lions, Cheetahs and Leopards. Mara also hosts 450 species of birds including the National Bird of Kenya, the Lilac Breasted Roller Bird and the Nocturnal Bird. Later return to dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 5: Masai Mara
After breakfast, Enjoy full day game drive in the Reserve, expecting to see the great herd of Zebras, Gazelles, Giraffe and Elephant grazing. The huge Crocodiles as they bask out for sun at Mara river, also Hippos yawning their way to the surface of the water, The wonders of the world, that is, the annual Wildebeest migration from Mara River to Serengeti, At Mara river, it’s where the huge Crocodile lies ready to get a catch of the weak ones crossing the river. Later back to the lodge as the day comes to an end
Meal plan, full board, overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.
Day 6: Masai Mara-Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, have an enroute game drive as you depart to Lake Naivasha National Park. A lot of games can be seen here, e.g. Giraffes, Waterbucks, Elands, Wildebeests, Zebras and Impalas. It’s also a heaven for birds with 200 species recorded. The lake has a lot of Hippos. Among the resident birds are Fish Eagles, Ospreys, Lily-trotters, Black rakes and a variety of Herons. Hippos also live in the lake. A number of mammals can be seen grazing in the surrounding lake environs, such as Zebra, Impala, Buffalo, Giraffe, and Kongoni and, at night, hippos." A wide variety of wildlife, birdlife and flora lives quite freely out there and as there are no predators to be found, quite happily as well.

Day 7: Lake Naivasha -Amboseli
After breakfast, have an enroute game drive as you depart to Amboseli National Park, there is a lot of game to see here, e.g. Giraffes, Waterbucks, Elands, Wildebeest, Zebras and Impalas, it is also a haven for birds with 200 species recorded. The lake has a lot of Hippos, which you can easily spot from the island, among the resident birds are fish Eagles, Ospreys, Lily-trotters, Black Crakes and a variety of Herons, Hippo also live in the lake, a number of mammals can be seen grazing in the surrounding lake environs, such as zebra, impala, buffalo, giraffe, kongoni and, at night, Hippos, a wide variety of wildlife, birdlife and flora lives quite freely out there and as there are no predators to be found, quite happily as well.
Meal plan-breakfast, lunch and dinner, overnight at Kibo Safari camp
Day8: Amboseli
After breakfast, enjoy full day game drive in the park, you are expected to see great herd of Zebras and Elephants grazing, the big five, that is, Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard, the site of Elephants posing at Mount Kilimanjaro, and view of Mount Kilimanjaro from observation hill, species of birds like Genet cats, Carnivores like Hyena, Lion and Leopard, Herbivores like Thompson Gazelle, later returns for dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Meal plan- breakfast, lunch and dinner, overnight at Kibo Safari Camp.
Day 9: Amboseli National Park-Nairobi
Have a pre- breakfast game drive in the park as you catch and see cats returning to their shelter with food for the day, the view of sun as it arises from down Mount Kilimanjaro, and return for breakfast. After breakfast, depart to Nairobi with a parked lunch. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel/airport for your departure flight back home.

This is the best tour on the east coast! It was amazing how many places we visited and what great memories we made!

This was not our first time going to here. It is a great place to shop not too far from New York. We took the bus from Port Authority and traveled through the countryside to get there.
