Tsavo East National Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in Kenya at 13,747 square kilometers. Situated in a semi-arid area previously known as the Taru Desert, it is located near the town of Voi in the Taita-Taveta County. The park is one of the world’s biodiversity strongholds, and its popularity is mostly due to the vast amounts of diverse wildlife including the famous ‘big five’ consisting of Maasai Lion, black rhino, Cape buffalo, elephant and leopard. The park is also home to a great variety of bird life.

Day 1: Nairobi-Tsavo East National Park

You Will be picked from your hotel/Airport and drive along Nairobi-Mombasa road to Tsavo East National Park. After checking in to Sagala Lodge,  you shall embark on your first game drive in search of elephants, the man eaters of Tsavo, buffalos, cheetahs, giraffes and antelopes. Dinner and overnight at the sagala lodge.

Day 2: Full day at Tsavo East National Park

Depart for a morning game drive after breakfast in this vast national park in search of the big five. Later, drive back for lunch. Spend the rest of the day at your own leisure. Dinner and overnight at sagala lodge

Day 3: Tsavo East- Nairobi

You can opt to have an early morning game drive before breakfast. After breakfast, check out of the lodge, and head back for Nairobi.
