Safari Overview

This 3-day safari combines two of Kenya’s most iconic parks—Amboseli National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and Mount Kilimanjaro views, and Tsavo West National Park, renowned for its dramatic landscapes, rhino sanctuary, and the Mzima Springs with crystal-clear waters and hippos. It’s the perfect short adventure for travelers who want both wildlife and scenic beauty.

Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park (Afternoon Game Drive)
• Pick up from Nairobi hotel/airport in the morning and drive to Amboseli (approx. 4–5 hrs)
• Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge/camp
• Afternoon game drive in Amboseli, with chances to spot elephants, buffalo, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and more
• Weather permitting, enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro
• Dinner and overnight in Amboseli

Day 2: Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park (Game Drive)
• Early morning game drive in Amboseli, then return to the lodge for breakfast
• Depart for Tsavo West (approx. 3 hrs)
• Enter Tsavo West and enjoy a game drive en route to your lodge/camp
• Afternoon visit to Mzima Springs, a natural oasis where hippos and crocodiles can be viewed from an underwater observation chamber
• Evening game drive in Tsavo West with chances of spotting rhinos at the Ngulia Sanctuary
• Dinner and overnight in Tsavo West

Day 3: Tsavo West – Nairobi
• Early morning breakfast
• Check out and drive back to Nairobi (approx. 5–6 hrs)
• Drop off at your hotel in Nairobi or airport
