This safari blends the Masai Mara’s legendary wildlife, the rhino sanctuary of Lake Nakuru, and the scenic beauty of Lake Naivasha. In just five days, you’ll track the Big Five, enjoy thrilling game drives, meet the Maasai people, and relax with a boat ride on Lake Naivasha surrounded by hippos and birdlife.
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
- Pick up in Nairobi at the airport or your hotel (at an extra cost) and drive through the Great Rift Valley with a photo stop at the viewpoint.
- Arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch at your camp.
- Afternoon game drive: Search for elephants in the grasslands, spot lions lazing under trees, and watch zebras grazing as the sun sets.
- Dinner and overnight stay in the Mara.
Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara
- Early breakfast then depart for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch.
- Explore the heart of the reserve where cheetahs, leopards, and massive elephant herds roam.
- Depending on the season (July–October), witness the Great Wildebeest Migration.
- Return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Maasai Village Visit – Lake Nakuru
- Breakfast at the lodge, then visit a Maasai village for cultural experiences.
- Depart Masai Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in the afternoon.
- Relax at your lodge with dinner and overnight stay near Nakuru.
Day 4: Full Day in Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
- After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park.
- Look out for rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffalo, zebras, lions, and birdlife, including pelicans and flamingos (seasonal).
- Picnic lunch inside the park.
- Drive to Lake Naivasha in the afternoon, check in at your hotel for dinner & overnight.
Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi
- After breakfast, enjoy a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, spotting hippos and fish eagles.
- Optional visit to Crescent Island for a walking safari alongside giraffes, zebras, and antelopes ( at an extra cost)
- Have lunch and relax before driving back to Nairobi, arriving around 6:00 PM.
- Drop-off at your hotel or airport (at an extra cost).
