🗓 Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
- Pick up in Nairobi at the airport or your hotel (at an extra cost) and drive through the Great Rift Valley with a photo stop at the viewpoint.
- Arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch at your camp.
- Afternoon game drive through the reserve in search of elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, and, during the migration season, the spectacular herds of wildebeest and zebras spread across the Mara plains.
- Dinner and overnight stay in the Mara.
Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara – Great Wildebeest Migration Experience
- Early breakfast then depart for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch.
- Explore the heart of the reserve in search of the Big Five, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and massive elephant herds.
- Visit the famous Mara River, where, during the migration season (July–October), you may witness the dramatic wildebeest river crossings as thousands of animals brave crocodile-filled waters.
- Enjoy exceptional wildlife viewing as predators follow the migrating herds across the savannah.
- Return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Maasai Village Visit – Lake Nakuru
- Breakfast at the lodge, followed by a visit to a traditional Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience.
- Depart Masai Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in the afternoon.
- Relax at your lodge with dinner and overnight stay near Nakuru.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
- After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park.
- Look out for both black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffalo, zebras, lions, pelicans, and seasonal flamingos.
- Enjoy a picnic lunch before departing for Lake Naivasha.
- Drive to Lake Naivasha in the afternoon and check in at your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi
- After breakfast, enjoy a scenic boat ride on Lake Naivasha, spotting hippos, fish eagles, and other aquatic birdlife.
- Optional visit to Crescent Island for a guided walking safari alongside giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and other wildlife (at an extra cost).
- Have lunch and relax before driving back to Nairobi, arriving around 6:00 PM.
- Drop-off at your hotel or airport (at an extra cost).
